Year 9

Planning subjects meeting

When you are in year 9 you will probably have to decide which subjects to study at school.

Think about the subjects:

  • you are good at.
  • you enjoy.
  • you might need for college or a job.
  • that could be useful when you are older.
Review meeting

You will also have a 'transition review' meeting in school. This will help you make choices and plan for your future.

In the meeting you will have the chance to tell people:

  • what you want to do when you reach 16, or older if you stay on at school.
  • how you are going to make your plans happen.
  • who you want to help you.
