Mental Health

A worried looking woman

Mental health is about how you feel in your mind.

When you have a problem with your mental health you might find:

  • it hard to make decisions
  • you feel unhappy a lot of the time
  • it hard to cope with life.

Talking to someone can help you feel better.

Some of the things that could help include:

  • taking time off to relax
  • counselling - this is special time for you to talk with someone
  • joining a support group
  • medication - this must come from a doctor
  • a short stay in hospital.
