Travel, Holidays and Breaks

A plane taking off

As you get older and more independent you'll probably start travelling more.

You might choose to walk or use a bicycle. Or use buses, trains and taxis. Or you might decide to learn to drive.

You might travel to:

  • visit friends and family
  • go to work
  • attend hospital appointments
  • go on a holiday
  • go to a football match.
A train

Travelling to somewhere new can help you:

  • build your independence and confidence
  • meet new people
  • build new interests and hobbies
  • relax and have fun.
